Health Centers and Hospitals Campaign
The National Genome Centre, in close collaboration with primary healthcare centers and hospitals across the Kingdom of Bahrain, continues its field awareness and sample collection initiatives. Through these joint efforts, the Centre works directly with healthcare providers and clinical staff to facilitate citizen participation and promote the role of genetic science in personalizing patient care and preventive medicine.
Over the past two years, the Centre has conducted more than 540 outreach campaigns involving primary health centers, specialized medical facilities, and hospitals across all governorates. These initiatives aim to establish a comprehensive national genomic database, supporting early diagnosis, targeted therapeutic options, and enhanced healthcare quality for present and future generations.
