National Genome Center Project Participation at Youth City 2030
Description
The National Genome Center project participated in Youth City 2030 over several days to raise awareness about the national project and offer attendees the opportunity to participate.
The National Genome Project aims to elevate the quality of healthcare services, prevent genetic and incurable diseases, and ensure better healthy living opportunities for future generations. It also works toward enhancing treatment prospects, improving health services, and preventing disease for current generations.
The project team is building a comprehensive DNA database for the Bahraini population. Reading and analyzing this data is expected to significantly improve disease diagnosis, enable early detection, assess individual susceptibility to diseases, foster the development of effective targeted medications, and aid in disease prevention across current and future generations.
